how did the transcontinental railroad develop the west?
a. it made travel easier for people migrating west, brought cattle and food products to market, and created jobs for thousands of immigrants working on the railroad.
b. it forced american indians to work harder to keep their land and generated loathing for the governments move westward.
c. it caused women to lose jobs in the work force.
d. it made travel from new york to boston much easier, causing a rise in the stock market.
e. it created jobs for americans and those already living out west visit family and friends, but it caused the destruction of the farming industry.
