why would it be important for the decision to separate from britain to be unanimous?

The growing feeling of nationalism in the American colonies, as well as the displeasure of the British treatment, led to the idea of becoming independent. The idea was that all colonies should join together and form one independent country. There was a big problem with this though. The problem was that the British were not willing to give up on their colonies. The British also had much stronger, larger, and better equipped military, while the colonists were very poorly equipped and mostly had strong will and decisiveness on their side. Because of the fear that the British will intervene, disarm them, and eliminate lot of people, the Americans decided to make the declaration of Independence in secret. Once they did, they started organizing as they knew that once they put it out in the public the British will attack, and so it was. Luckily for the Americans they managed to win the war because of lot of lucky circumstances.

john maynard keynes developed new economic theories in response to the : b) great depression of the 1930s. his theories are so important that they are known as "keynesianism". in his works he supports the idea of a government with deeper involvement and intervention to end the great depression.
