subject: traffic jams near blake high school

dear representative lindstrom,

you for your hard work on behalf of the citizens of our community. the purpose of this email is to bring to your attention issues related to traffic near blake high school. as you may know, there are two main entrances to the high school: one off main street and one off eames way. both of these become blocked at the beginning and end of the school day.

i did some research and found that there have been three accidents in the last month alone. although these have all been minor collisions, they create major delays for students trying to get to school. being late to school is a major bummer. the timing on the traffic light should be changed before there is a more serious accident.

i’m writing to ask for your assistance in dealing with this traffic issue. in addition to looking at the light, there may be other changes that could address the traffic problem, such as having a crossing guard or restricting a left turn into or out of the school driveway.

you for your time and attention to this matter.

sincerely,

katrina hooper
