Constitutionalism greatly influenced the formation of the US constitution to ensure that every citizen received equal treatment and political voice (excluding minorities at the time).

Divine Right of Kings- the philosophy that a monarch has the godly right to rule a nation and thus, should have full control and authority over all of his subjects.
