Propaganda in United states spread influencing people to join our Military. Women would also join the workforce during this time for america's economy to stay intact. The buildup in Europe was different however. Between 1890 and 1913, the European powers at the time began building up in military power. This included the countries of Britain, France, Germany, Russia, and Austria-Hungary. The reason for the military buildup was primarily nationalism in which each country wanted to be "better" than the others.
