Describe the major effects of the fall of rome on both eastern and western europe

The major effects of the fall of Rome on both Eastern and Western Europe were different because only Western Europe was mainly affected by the fall. However, Eastern Europe didn't experience relevant changes since they were protected by the Byzantines.

Western Europe

The main problem was the loss of economic as well as technological progress because there weren't any Roman armies and tax collectors.
