Is god a woman? if so, why do people call her a he?

People call "him" many things, like Mother Nature, Lord, Jesus, etc. There is no specific gender but God is called "he" most of the time. In the Bible, he is called the Heavenly Father. God is neither a woman or man. Hope this helped. This is a very confusing topic
