The progressive movement was something misguided in its interaction with racial minorities because progressive reformers a. believed that racial minorities were incapable of becoming true americans b. believed that immigrants shouldn't vote c. were pushed for woman's right to vote d. pushed white americans middle class culture as the superior way of living !

progressive movement was an attempt to improve american society and deal with new problem and oscialchanges that occure in the begining of 20th c. butthe main electoral and social target of progressivists at that time was not inclusion of minorities to the mainstream of american society but strengthening american middle class,  (inclusion of minorities  that is the program of modern day american progressivists, back then minoriteis was concered mostly by conservative fraction among democratic party).
