the secretary of state is the head of the state department, and for many years was the position held by someone who would later be elected president. what is the job of the state department, and why do you think the qualities of a good secretary of state are important for a president to have as well?

what is the difference between an executive order and a law? which one is stronger, and why?

we use the electoral college to elect presidents. briefly explain the process. in your answer you must include: how many votes you need to win, explain who electors are, and why each state has a different number of them. then explain why a republican voter in california (which is typically a safe state for democratic candidates), or a democratic voter in mississippi (which is typically a safe state for republican candidates) may not agree with the electoral college system.
