I believe schools should not ban student access to sugary beverages. I personally agree people should drink less sugary soda, but I do not believe it is the proper role of government to require it. People must be free to make their own choices, even bad ones. This view is consistent with my conservative political ideology. That view stresses individual freedom and believes government should have limited power over individuals.
