50 what was your reaction to learning the ages of several of the key delegates to the continental congress who ratified and signed the declaration?

Most of the signers and delegates at the time were quite old. This was quite intriguing to me because I thought most of the signers were going to be younger. Because most people would think that people in that age would be settled down not fighting for their freedoms.
