Explanation:

Imperialism simply means the process in which a country or kingdom use her power to take over the ruling of another nation there by creating colonies in those countries with the use of her military or Emperor. An imperial country who uses Direct Rule will surely use her Military apparatus to control such country.

Direct rule makes the imperialist to govern the colonize country trough a government from there country with representatives that are selected to administer the colonies.
