Regions are great plains and interior lowlands describe the impact the environment has had on human settlement. how has human settlement changed or been affected by the environment of each region? (now and in the past.)

Human settlement has greatly affected the Great Plains and other areas. As well as the Great Plains has had a huge impact on human settlement.

Man made things, such as buildings and roads have decreased the area of The Great Plains.

While some areas make it hard for us to build there due to the land, wildlife..etc

well that depends on how deep the hole is. you'd first go through te crust of the earth, then the upper mantle, then the lower mantle then the outer core, then the inner cor then you'd be stuck in the core to melt.
