The Viet Cong launched ambushes and assaults against the Us and South Vietnamese troops. Basically, the Viet Minh was both anti-French and Chinese and would later be developed into the People’s Army of Vietnam while the Viet Cong was North Vietnam’s way of protesting the presence of the Americans in place of the French.
