Containment during the Cold War was used to stop the spread of Communism, and had different strategies with it. 3 different strategies for Containment were Isolationism, Détente , and last was Rollback strategy. All were used to help CONTAIN communism to influence in Eastern Europe, China, Korea, Africa, Vietnam, and Latin America.
