How did the great depression impact farmers?

The great depression caused stock prices and therefore the cost of every item to drop. When the stock owners lost money, they were no longer able to buy things... even food. This resulted in a drop in purchasing of food items, and therefore a loss of money for farmers. Farmers had also taken large loans, and the banks wanted their money back. The Farmers started having major issues very quickly.
