True. Physical fitness does not only bring beneficial effects to the physical body, it also contributes to the mental capacity of a person. Studies have shown that people who are engaged in regular physical activity feel more happy, fulfilled, and energetic compared to their counterparts. Mood is affected by the release of chemicals within the bloodstream, during exercise these chemicals (e.g. endorphins, seratonin) are released within the body systems causing a positive effect to a person’s overall health.
