And the cons to it are that you may not be able to do something and do good on it but you do it and possibly end up getting fired or something. The pros about positive self-esteem are that you may be able to dodge a bullet, that is a term meaning like if there was something bad, you just avoided it. The cons are that you are turning yourself down.
