Can someone pls help with this case?
Sarah, 7, 2nd grade (explosive behavior)
Sarah began displaying explosive behavior in second grade. Her teacher noticed that her drawings were often "dark" and depicted the dead and injured. No issues had been previously reported. Sarah's father has bipolar disorder.
The school contacted Sarah's parents, who were met. They agreed to have their daughter see a counselor who would help her express her emotions and manage her anger. An action plan has been drawn up to find an adult in the establishment who could come helping Sarah when she is troubled and providing her with a safe place to go. Parents were suggested ways to help Sarah at home. The child has used the resources available to him and his behavior has improved.
Two years later, in fourth grade, Sarah begins to have difficulty controlling her anger: she shows aggression, runs away from school, throws an object at a classmate, hides in the school. At home, she hits her little brother.
