Something that helps me is writing poems down. Also screaming into a pillow helps me because it brings your emotions out. I'd also say sitting down and watching the sunset or sunrise rise up or down into the beautiful sky's. You could also just listen to music and just dance to it. Something that really helps me try to avoid my pain is keeping me distracted by doing the things, I like to do or haven't done in a while.
