Why is it so important to know the functions and characteristics of the bodys reproductive and nervous system to advance my career in allied health ?

I believe that knowing the functions and characteristics of the body's reproductive and nervous systems is important because the chemicals that are generated there control your metabolism, growth, water and mineral balance, and the response to stress. Hormones also affect the development of the nervous system and neutral processing for the brain.
