When mildred overdoses, why does the emergency hospital send technicians instead of a doctor to treat the patient?

Overdose is a common suicide attempt method and the treatment would be to stomach-pump which a doctor isn't needed for and the technicians are trained to do. 

If it's a smaller child or infant, place one on the middle of the chest and on the child's back. (if it is a bigger child with enough room for two, place one on the upper right/your left of the chest, and one on the lower left/your right) the pads should never touch each other. 

Maybe it is yoga , stretches, push ups, sit up etc
