Barrier methods keep the sperm from getting to the egg, normally by covering the penis, or by hindering the cervical opening. Non-hormonal IUDs work by chafing the covering of the uterus so that there is no place for the egg to embed itself regardless of the possibility that it is treated. 
Well hormones are not barriers, similar to condom, stomachs, wipes, and so on; while hormonal strategy is principally synthetic by nature, however, there are some compound hindrances, for example, froth or cream spermicides, yet hormonal mean trap the female body into going about as though it is as of now pregnant so an egg is not discharged by the ovum.
