A person with a third degree burn will feel limited or no painbecause of the extensive damage done to their nerves.
Typically with severe burns, such as a third degree burn, nerve ending will have been burned to the point where they will actually die. A person will not experience feeling when the nerves are no longer alive. Shock may also come into play when talking about severe injuries such as burns.
