1.)The skeletal system is the frame work for the muscles which gives them the ability to move. 
2.) The nervous system and the skeletal system work together by sensory receptors in the joints between bones send signals to the brain about body position and how they need to move. 
3.) The muscular system and the nervous system work together by the nervous system sending impulses to the brain to tell them when to move and how to move. 

(a) is not correct because one does not get increased cholesterol  from lifting weights.(b) is not correct because lifting weights cannot reduce the risk of a hereditary disease.(c) is not correct because back pain isn't a benefit! and plus, if he lifts weights properly, he should not have back pain.(d) is the correct answer because his ligaments will gain mass, making it easier for him to carry heavier weights and he will also be stronger!
