Like most of the other boys, julian is attracted to girls. but, he enjoys cheerleading and dancing and has won many dance competitions. some boys in his class make fun of him and say he is homosexual. he spends a lot of time alone in order to avoid being teased. which could be considered the most compassionate response to julian's situation? ignore the teasing whenever it occurs. encourage julian to stop cheerleading and dancing. avoid sporting events in which julian is a cheerleader. tell julian how talented he is.

Julian is unique from others in his gender, but it does NOT mean it is okay to have judging comments just because he is dancing. As it says in the paragraph, he does like girls, but these boys still have conjectures. Julian should keep his head high and show them that no matter what he does, he should always be true to what he loves to do.
