Ineed to write a short response to the following question: describe a slide tackle in soccer.

I used to play soccer and I was a referee. Slide tackles are done when a defending player, who does not have the ball, slides feet-first towards the person with the ball, attempting to knock the ball out of their possession.  Slide tackles are illegal if done from behind the person it is done on.
