Hi, I’m a teen I live with parents. So my 90 something year old neighbor (if I’m not mistaken she is 94) walked over and talked to my father yesterday, they sort of know each other and talk sometimes, my dad told me that she started talking about her husband and how he is going out all the time and shouldn’t be out so much, my dad of course had to tell her that her husband, Bob, that he knew well, has already passed and died in 2014. Catherine my neighbor seems to have started to lose her marbles, she told me dad “I’ve been looking for Bob he was here and now he’s out and he can’t be going out like that!” My dad responded “Miss, your husband passed 7 years ago.” “he’s in heaven”. She said “I know he’s dead but he shouldn’t be out like that! I seen my mom this week to she keeps on coming” her mother has been dead for 35 years. Catherine lives alone and has no relatives or children nearby, her son lives far up north (Washington) USA. What should we do? This women could pass away any moment and we not know about it for months. I seen her yesterday and she looks pale and sickly. What if she’s not washing herself properly? She still drives everyday, but what if she’s hallucinating and has dementia? I seen her one year ago and she was ABSOLUTELY not like this! She was fine! What if she’s inside her house right now alone talking to her dead loved ones or calling out there names and worried sick about people who have been dead? What should I do. Call the POPO?
