I have anxiety and my dog died. She help sooth my anxiety to the point where I could hide it. But shes gone now and I need to convince my parents to get me a pet i can hold so I don't have 24 anxiety attacks a day. How can I convince them to let me with out worrying then sick? They barely leave me alone as it is.

Maybe if you put away all your electronics and lock them with a key and give the key to some one you trust like your parents for about a month to stop the process
