Adolescents who describe themselves as religious and declare that religion plays an important part in their lives are less likely to engage in any form of sexual behavior.

This is because of what the bible talks about sexual behaviors, especially before marriage.

Explanation: Sexuality is something important in the development of people and many times this can be influenced by various factors, the religious sphere being one of these. In the bible, there are several verses where it talks about the consequences of having sex before marriage.

A study carried out expresses that those married people who live under the parameters of religion have a very normal sexual life and that their beliefs do not exert any influence to not enjoy their sexual life, while for people who are not married this practice it is seen as negative. In the case of adolescents, this last result can be applied since there is much talk in religion about abstinence and living according to religious laws.

change is fast. one can make change and see immediate results.

time is a commodity to be spent or saved. one’s time is one’s own.

learning:

reality is fragmented and compartmentalized. one source of information is used to develop knowledge. thinking is inductive, proceeds from specific to general. focus is on detail.

learning occurs by following explicit directions and explanations of others.

an individual orientation is preferred for learning and problem solving.

speed is valued. how efficiently something is learned is important.
