Sometimes it's hard to determine whether a diet is credible, although it seems to come from a credible point of view. For example, Dr. Atkins was a medical doctor, and the British Nutrition board is made up of licensed nutrition professionals. How can someone interested in a fad diet determine whether the diet is scientifically credible when both sides of the argument seem to come from credible sources?
