FORENSIC Science I need help I can’t come up with a story for this using belladonna
OVERVIEW:
What do Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Enchanted all have in
cmon? They are
all fairy tales in which the heroine, a princess, is poisoned by the evil witch. Her only chance of
survival is a kiss from her one true love, a prince. These fantasies have captured the hearts of
children and adults alike for many years. For this assignment, you will create a fairy tale that
will no doubt capture the hearts of your peers, as well.
DESCRIPTION:
For this assignment, you will be assigned a toxin on which you will need to conduct research.
You will write a fairy tale that incorporates your assigned toxin (as it will be the villain's weapon
of choice). You have the choice of either writing a storybook with a partner OR creating a story
board poster in a small group.
In writing your "toxic" fairy tale, you must adhere to the following guidelines:

the villain

generally used (e. g., medicinally or in certain products), etc.
Mode of toxin's entry into the victim's body is included (e. g., ingested, inhaled, absorbed
through skin, based on your research)
The symptoms experienced by the victim are explained or portrayed in some way (based
on your research; if acted out, be sure to include a description of symptoms in script)
In the end, the victim is rescued by the heroine/ hero who treats the victim for their
symptoms (include the type of treatment, based on your research)

Which statement best describes the role of religion and culture in ancient medicine? religion and culture did not influence the types or treatments used; however, they did play a role in who was allowed to practice medicine. religious beliefs guided physicians to perform certain procedures; however, culture did not play a role in the way physicians worked or who could become a physician or a healer. religious beliefs often guided the diagnosis and treatment of disease; the culture often determined who could practice medicine and what procedures were appropriate. culture was the primary factor that determined who could be a physician and what types of diagnosis and treatment were used; religion was not important during this time period.
