The more we view things that make us uncomfortable, the more desensitized we become. Why might this be a problem in the long run?

Some people may become inconsiderate when participating in certain subjects due to sensitivity level or how uneasy it can make them. It becomes a problem when they need to engage in a conversation regarding something they aren’t comfortable with, making their comments biased.
