You have almost completed Lesson 14! You have been learning about
communication skills and conflict management.
For the following lab activity, you will be analyzing a real-life conversation. You
can either be an observer or be part of the conversation. You can observe a
conversation from a movie or television show (keep it clean – no cussing or
inappropriate language), or observe one that takes place
After observing the conversation, analyze it by using the techniques learned in this lesson. For example, if you notice someone using a type of body language, explain what they did, label it as body language, and the effect it had on the conversation. Choose
a conversation that has at least five different techniques and note them.
