It depends on what your goal is. When you want to gain more muscle and carbs you should look at the amount of carbs. If you want to lower your calorie intake then you should look at the amount of calories it has. If you vegan you would need to look to see if it contains any things that you dont want to eat such as dairy or meat. If you want more protein then you would look to see how much protein there is. If you have allergies than you NEED to check to see if it contains anything that your allergic too...there are endless ways for a person to decide what to look at first. A lot of people are diverse therefore their diets are diverse.
