Explanation:

A Retrovirus, a type of virus from the viral family Retroviridae., is a virus whose genes are encoded in their single stranded RNA which serves as a basis for DNA synthesis  This iRNA then  makes copies of  itself by first coding its genes reversely into the DNA of the cells it infects using an enzyme called reverse transcriptase,

Like other viruses, retroviruses attach through the cell of the organisms they infect to replicate  themselves,but are  different from viruses by reverse transcription and genome integration

There are three Retroviruses that can affect humans which are HIV,Human T-cell lymphotropic virus (HTLV) types 1 and 2 and the flow chart of their  life cycle to illustrate how retroviruses replicate is given below by
