I am a very antisocial and shy person. I kinda don't have many friends, and the ones I do have I don't like much (except my best friend). How do I make more friends without being awkward? Like legit and honestly idk how to approach someone or what to say to them or what to talk about cuz i like never talk to ppl. I just sit quietly and do my work. Please help because i'm lonely and i want to interact, i just dk. Im making this 30 pts because i really need a helpful answer so plz.

If you're in a class with someone it might be easiest to start a conversation with them saying something based off of the class you're in like if you're in math or something, ask them a question about that. After that you could also ask follow up questions like if they play sports or video games and then ask them other things about that if they say yes. I used to be really awkward when talking to people but now i find it easiest to make new friends by going up to people i think i would like and then just acting like they're already my friend because that makes them more likely to want to talk to you and to not feel awkward themselves, i hope this helped
