In training for a marathon, Maria plans to secretly take a performance-enhancing drug because she believes it will help her place in the top five finishers and she desperately wants to build a reputation as a world-class competitive marathoner. What is your opinion on this plan?

I do not approve of this plan because steroids can lead to addiction to the drug and only improves stamina for a small amount of time  then increases the chance of getting fat. Then say Maria gets fat and wants more steroids to get skinny then she gets skinny then fat again. It is a process that will just lead her in circles until she dies.
