If there were no receptors then the ions channels in the motor end plate will eventually remain open. Their will be formation of acetylcholine in the junction,and also the synaptic vesicles present in the axon side will not function anymore. As a result of this the acetylcholinesterase will remain inactive. And thus it will affect the nervous system. The movement of muscles will also become uncontrollable. This acetylcholinesterase is an ester that helps in neurotransmitter.
