Hypothermia is the decrease in body temperature and occurs when the body loses heat faster than it produces. It is usually fatal when the body temperature drops below 30 degrees Celsius. Under these conditions the central nervous system and the cardiovascular system cease to function properly, first of all, if this condition persists, they cease to function and death occurs.
