Compare criminal and civil law as it applies to the practicing medical assistant

Criminal law governs violation punishable as offence against the state or government.Civil law is concerned with acts that are not criminal but involved relationship with individuals and other individuals, group,or government agencies.The medical assistant need to understand the difference between the type of law and how they are affect the physicians medical practice.Medical assistant must personally review those law that influence medical assistant practice and make sure that they are followed on constant basis, with documentation to prove so if necessary in a courtroom.
