Warm bottled beverages are in a tub surrounded by ice, cooling for later service. what should the food handler do with the ice that is in the tub

Throw the ice and the melted ice away after it has been used for cooling down beverages. The ice will no longer be of use and it cannot be used again or for anything else like human consumption as it could now potentially have bacteria in it. It all needs to be disposed of.
