If a disabled person is traveling by airplane and cannot enter the airplane or buckle the seatbelt without assistance, what does the air carrier act require from the airline?

The Air Carrier Act requires from the airline that the disabled person receives assistance from those who work for the airline, most commonly flight attendents. The employees have to help with the belt buckling and ensuring that the flight goes safely for the person and provide help with both getting on and off of the plane. If not, the person can sue them.
