Advice a friend who responds to conflict by avoidance on why it is not healthy in sustaining positive relationships

It is not healthy to avoid conflict because it will build up. You're not able to express your true feelings and then you have to hold it all in eventually blowing up. That is why it is best to confront a conflict especially while it is still small.
