Nationalist leader is Chiang Kai-Shek who is a member of the Kuomintang which is the Chinese Nationalist Party. Nationalist goal is to unite China under a republic and democratic type of government.
Communist leader is Mao Zedong who is the leader of the Communist Party during the Chinese Civil War. Communist goal is to unite China under a communist government.
