There are two types of structure in sedimentary rocks, they are primary structure and secondary structure. This type of lag is also separated into multiple process-based types, which include physics, biology, and chemical structure.

• Primary Structure

Sedimentary rocks are formed along with the formation of sedimentary rocks for this type of structure. The 'Slump' layer has small folds and is not consolidated completely yet. Sedimentary rocks are named 'Stromatolites' in the secondary structure. This rock has a reef sheet. There are sedimentary rock structures created by rainwater scours or called 'Rain Marks’. There is a sedimentary rock structure with unique grooves such as flames created because the sediment layer burden at the top is heavier.
