Most of the Central American countries like those of the Honduras have about 60% of the people that live in poverty and rates of the poverty in the country of the Central America are about 16.4%.  Also, this region consists of some of the valuable natural resources and that has created various environmental problems such as the water pollution. More than half of the population lives under the poverty and about 75% of the rural people. And about 63% of the people are in extreme poverty.
