Procedure: Consult the following table of information.  Convert all measurements to centimeters.  Use the compass and metric ruler to lay out the holes in the proper direction and length.  Each hole is a straight line.  Put the appropriate course features at each hole.   Begin the course 2 cm down and 2 cm in from the upper left hand corner of the page.  Draw a compass on the lower right corner of the page (North is up, East is to the right).  At the end of each line label the hole with a circle and the number of the hole.  Color your course with appropriate colors. Neat, QUALITY work is always expected ☺ Hole Number Measurement Compass Direction Feature 1 40 mm = cm South 2 sand traps 2 6.3 cm = cm Northeast water on the south 3 120 mm = cm South trees to the west 4 .052 m = cm East 5 4 cm = cm Southwest water between tee and green 6 60 mm = cm West 7 .07 m = cm South 8 .08 m = cm East trees to the north 9 4.8 cm = cm Northwest 10 85 mm = cm East sand around green 11 40 mm = cm North 12 30 mm = cm East 13 60 mm = cm North water on the west 14 .03 m = cm West 15 4 cm = cm.
