Explain How earthquakes can be both a destructive and creative force?

Earthquakes can be both (as you said) destructive and creative. earthquakes can damage underground mines greatly especially if there are people down there, they can break apart homes, and do far worse depending on their force. But, they can also be a creative force. When the fault lines move they can cause incredible damage, BUT they also can cause new land formations (constructive), witch is a good sign. But for the most part, earthquakes are only causing of destruction.
