What is the role of the state governments under the articles of confederation

The state governments were run sort of like a mini-England under the AoC, and so they technically took on all roles, including taxes, armies, etc.

While winters are rainy, summers are dry. regions with this climate are usually in the eastern part of the continents. they experience hot, humid summers and colder winters. precipitations have a regular distribution throughout the year, but hurricanes are common.
